Cyber Security Analyst
The Cyber Security Analyst (CSA) is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of securing Hanwha Defense Australia’s information systems. Reporting to the ICT Security Manager, the role is tasked with providing technical expertise in all areas of information, network, system, and application security.
The role shall work closely with the Information Technology Operations team to ensure that systems and networks are always designed, developed, deployed, and managed with an emphasis on strong, effective security and risk management controls.
Provide specialist, technical and administrative support for the Hanwha Defence Australia’s Cyber Security functions, applying practical and procedural knowledge and understanding of Australian Government security standards including:
- Attorney General’s Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).
- Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF).
- Australian Signal’s Directorate Information Security Manual (ISM).
The Cybersecurity Analyst shall enhance the HDA vulnerability management program, and manage the annual cybersecurity assessments, penetration tests, research, and reports on emerging threats, to help Hanwha Defence Australia take pre-emptive risk mitigation steps.
The Cybersecurity Analyst shall work within the incident and event management process with the incumbent Managed SOC service to proactively detect threats and mitigate attacks before they occur.
Inventory Controller
Process Inspection Work Instruction Inspector
We are seeking a Production Quality Inspector to join our team and will be responsible for ensuring quality and inspection checks to ensure works carried out are verified and reflected in work instruction sheets. The role is responsible for conducting inspections at various stages of fabrication, assembly and finishing processes to identify defects, deviations and/or non-conformances. The role also includes aspects of QMS development and root cause analysis with ensuring corrective actions are taken and escalating of any issues within the production area to relevant management personnel.
The role will also be required to travel to our Hanwha Korean production facilities to shadow Korean production staff to learn how to perform quality audits on vehicle.
Project Manager - Land 400 Phase 3
Project Management, Scheduling & Estimating/Pricing
As a Land 400 Phase 3 Project Manager you will be responsible for executing and delivering the relevant sub-project against the Land 400 Phase 3 contract.
The role requires the hands-on execution of all project management disciplines, including scope management, time management and scheduling, budgeting and cost management, risk management along with exceptional communication for project meetings, reporting and stakeholder engagement. In addition, it is preferred that you will have a sound understanding of systems engineering and ASDEFCON Complex contracting and projects, ideally with manufacturing experience.
Financial Analyst

You will primarily analyse and monitor the financial data of Supply chains and support the processes that evaluate potential financial risk before entering into contracts with suppliers.
This role will facilitate the flow of supply chain expenditure information for each Defence contract, between relevant internal stakeholders and financial management systems. A key output will be the production and ongoing management of analytical tools, materials and other artefacts that enable effective modelling, options analysis and decision making.
This role will support the Australian Industry Capability (AIC) function, through the consolidation and reconciliation of data, analysis and forecasting of trends and reporting on the implications of key decisions and activities as they relate to achieving AIC outcomes. The role is critical for monitoring compliance with ACE requirements among HDA’s supply chain and for ensuring HDA meets its contractual obligations with the Australian Defence Force (ADF).
The Financial Analyst will liaise routinely with other members of the Project Finance Team and the AIC Teams. The role will also be involved in direct interactions with the Defence customer, with HDA’s Australian and international supply chains and with other parts of the Hanwha Group (e.g. Hanwha Defense Corporation, Hanwha Systems).

Senior Engineer - Software

The Senior Engineer - Software is responsible for the independent management and execution of Software activities across HDA’s business units. The Senior Engineer - Software ensures that Software activities are planned, resourced and executed to meet the objectives of HDA’s business units.
The Senior Software Engineer will work with other Engineering and Technical teams as well as other HDA functions to ensure that HDA’s Software activities are successful.
SIL (System Integration Laboratory) Technician

The SIL Technician will conduct and assist with Electronic Architecture (EA) System Development, Integration, Verification, and Validation in the Hanwha Defence Australia (HDA) SIL and within prototype vehicles for specified project phases.
The SIL Technician conducts practical integration in the Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL) and onto prototype vehicles, conducts V&V activities supporting HDA engineering and V&V teams, and provides support to C4I, Electrical, Software, and E3 Systems Engineering teams ensuring the technical integrity of the system being delivered.
This role will also support systems security engineering through the gathering of OQE (Objective Quality Evidence) to support verification and certification activities, including conducting and recording verification plans procedures and reports.SIL Engineer

The Senior Engineer - SIL Engineer plans, conducts and reports on Electronic Architecture Systems Development, Integration, Verification, and Validation in the Hanwha Defence Australia (HDA) System Integration Laboratory (SIL) and within prototype vehicles. You will provide support in C4I engineering, verification and validation expertise, support to practical integration aspects, and help to ensure the technical integrity of the EA system being delivered.
You will also support systems security engineering through the gathering of OQE (Objective Quality Evidence) to support verification and certification activities, including the development of verification plans, procedures and reports.
