Responsibilities include performing the day-to-day maintenance of on-premise or cloud systems (SaaS & IaaS), developing and maintaining SOEs for HDA staff and evaluating and implementing new technologies for use in the business, whilst also supporting end users as required.

The Configuration Officer will be responsible for supporting the Configuration Manager in the configuration management of Hanwha Defence Australia engineering projects.
The role will be responsible for supporting the Configuration Manager in the development and establishment of design and product configurations produced during engineering projects. This is to be achieved through the enterprise configuration management system (Enovia PLM).
The role ensures that configuration management system processes are supported and communicated to various stakeholder teams to ensure compliance.

The Deputy Product Lead is responsible for supporting Product Lead(s) for HDA’s Integrated Product Support (also referred to as Integrated Logistics Support) to HDA Projects. Deputy Product Lead is expected to bring their experience to reinforce and value add across the spectrum of Matrix related IPS inputs and outputs to meet Contract deliverables. This includes quality assurance to IPS tools, policies, processes and procedures to allow for the achievement of the project technical IPS activities across the business, and where relevant, support to BD related activities.

Field Services Representative (FSR)
The IPS Specialist Technical Lead, acting as a field service representative, provides repair and maintenance expertise to ensure that Hanwha or Commonwealth-owned Mission Systems are maintained at a high level of vehicle availability for daily tasking by Hanwha or Army units. Reporting to the Maintenance Services Lead (IPS Specialist Supervisor), the role of the IPS Specialist Technical Lead will primarily involve repairing and maintaining Mission System equipment and serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Hanwha Defence designed equipment and systems. The IPS Specialist Technical Lead will also be required to provide on-the-job experience to Army and/or Contracted maintainers and operators of the Mission System. The IPS Specialist Technical Lead will be required to travel locally, interstate, and overseas for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) maintainer training. Duties will also involve practical fieldwork conducting and/or supporting maintenance activities for complex Land vehicle capabilities and periods of absence from the home environment in all seasons during the conduct and delivery of training to the client.
IPS Specialist Technical Lead positions will be positioned at the following locations:

- Puckapunyal, Victoria.
Field Training Representative – Maintainer (FTR-M)
The FTR-M is central to supporting the SID(M) with the development of all training products through the SADL process and working with Field Service Representatives (FSRs) in delivering effective instructional training on HDA Platforms incorporating a blended solution.
Human Factors Engineer
The Senior Engineer – Human Factors Engineer is responsible for the management and successful integration of all human considerations to inform human factors engineering outcomes of system design within Hanwha Defence programs. The Human Factors Engineer will be required to work collaboratively with all subcontractors and the Customer. Systems Engineering is the foundation used for driving the design of the Mission System while establishing the foundations for the Support System. The Human Factors Engineer must therefore have a detailed understanding of the systems engineering process.

As our ICT Administrative Officer you will be responsible for providing support to the ICT Leadership Team. The position will assist in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the ICT Team, particularly with relation to financially focused administrative work. As part of general administrative activity, the ICT Administrative Officer may also oversee requirements gathering, scheduling meetings, taking minutes during sessions, creating documents, and producing reports or presentations.
At times, the ICT Administrative Officer could be a key point of contact between HDA staff and the ICT team, escalating requests when required and following up on issues.
Junior Quality Systems Officer
The Junior Quality Systems Officer is responsible for supporting Hanwha Defence Australia (HDA) by providing essential support in the creation and continuous improvement of system design and documentation to meet the business needs to effectively control activities with the organisation. The role will provide technical input to the structure and content of the documentation to ensure that all the specific requirements, including relevant certifications and customer requirements are achieved.
This role may include rotation to the H-ACE facility in Avalon for the provision of these responsibilities.
Logistic Support Analyst - Senior IPS
The Senior IPS Analyst – Logistic Support Analyst will develop and maintain Integrated Product Support (IPS), also referred to as Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) analyses, for complete capabilities and manage the development and maintenance of the typical IPS Program artefacts.
This position is integral to the development of HDA strategies, processes and internal projects. Success will require forging a partnership with all cross stream (functional) areas across the company and HDA’s subcontractors to reinforce and improve upon existing project and program methodologies that meet internal and external client objectives, while creating value for all parties.Procurement Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Manager to be responsible for the end-to-end performance of the procurement team in relation to Sourcing, RF(x), Evaluation, Subcontract negotiations and subcontract management. There will be a focus on WIN: WIN strategies and ensuring On Time, To Quality and Within Budget contracting for the business. Significant areas of focus for the role would include people management of a team responsible for the “cradle to grave” approach to Procurement consisting of Sourcing, Procurement and Sub-Contract specialists, Industry Development professionals and administration roles. The Procurement Manager is also responsible for collaborative development and implementation of strategies, continuous improvement, supplier selection, relationship management, supplier performance as well as ensuing that the business is up to date with market conditions and emerging technologies.
Please note, this role can also be based at our Avalon site but will need to be able to travel to our CBD site as required.

The Requirements Engineer is responsible for the analysing, documenting management, update and maintenance of the Hanwha program Materiel System requirements. In addition, the Senior Requirements Engineer must have a detailed understanding of the systems engineering process.

The Senior Contracts Manager role works to proactively assist with the oversight and effective management leadership of all issues arising related to significant Defence matters and works predominantly at the prime contractor level alongside other program functional and workstream leads.
The role includes assisting with leadership and management of contracting at prime contractor/prime systems integrator level and is also focused on associated key subcontractors and supplier levels. This role works very closely with the Deputy Director & Company Secretary and Contracts Managers to ensure close alignments and understanding of inter-related issues between prime contractor and key subcontractors.

Senior Engineer – C4i
The Senior Engineer - C4i is responsible providing specialist command, control, communications, combat and intelligence (C4I) engineering expertise across HDA’s business units. The Senior Engineer - C4i ensures that C4i activities are planned, resourced and executed to meet the objectives of HDA’s business units. This role may also support systems-security engineering.

The Supervisor - Software Development shall be responsible for the management and execution of Software development activities within HDA’s (Hanwha Defence Australia) Software Engineering team. You will lead a team of Software Developers, in order to perform Software Development tasks and achieve technical outcomes in support of HDA programmes, within an integrated team.

Supervisory C4I Systems Engineer
The Supervisory Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) (C4I) Systems Engineer leads a team of C4I Engineers to support and leadership across HDA project teams. The Supervisory C4I Systems Engineer is responsible for conducting systems engineering design, development and testing of C4I systems to ensure technical integrity of assigned systems and subsystems.
The Supervisory C4I Systems Engineer will require knowledge of, and compliance with legislative frameworks, government decision-making and the customer’s mission and requirements.
Support System Modeller
The Support System Modeller is responsible for contributing to the modelling and support system design efforts of Integrated Product Support (IPS) programs using software systems such as OPUS 10. The Support system modeller will work in the modelling space however will be required to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders inclusive of the wider Matrix IPS and Engineering Department, Operations and Project Management team, especially in relation to Support system design and the LSA program.

The Verification and Validation Engineer is responsible for the independent management and execution of V&V activities across HDAs business units. The V&V Engineer ensures that V&V activities are planned, resourced and executed to meet the objectives of the business units. The V&V Engineer will work with other Engineering and Technical teams as well as other HDA functions to ensure that V&V activities are successful.
