The Cyber Security Analyst (CSA) is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of securing Hanwha Defense Australia’s information systems. Reporting to the ICT Security Manager, the role is tasked with providing technical expertise in all areas of information, network, system, and application security.

The role shall work closely with the Information Technology Operations team to ensure that systems and networks are always designed, developed, deployed, and managed with an emphasis on strong, effective security and risk management controls.

Provide specialist, technical and administrative support for the Hanwha Defence Australia’s Cyber Security functions, applying practical and procedural knowledge and understanding of Australian Government security standards including:

• Attorney General’s Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).
• Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF).
• Australian Signal’s Directorate Information Security Manual (ISM).

 The Cybersecurity Analyst shall enhance the HDA vulnerability management program, and manage the annual cybersecurity assessments, penetration tests, research, and reports on emerging threats, to help Hanwha Defence Australia take pre-emptive risk mitigation steps.

The Cybersecurity Analyst shall work within the incident and event management process with the incumbent Managed SOC service to proactively detect threats and mitigate attacks before they occur.

Your role is primarily ensuring the high quality and accuracy of financial accounting transactions in our Finance Department, maintaining the compliance with Hanwha Defense Australia’s policies & procedures, Accounting Standards, and relevant legislative policies. You will also support the Finance team in meeting monthly and annually financial closure deadlines.

This role is based at our new state of the art facility in Avalon.

Reporting into the Head of HR, you will serve as a partner to the Corporate and Melbourne CBD office providing HR expertise and guidance to support the achievement of organisational goals. You will work closely with leadership and employees to foster a positive work environment, drive employee engagement, implement HR initiatives that align with the company's strategic objectives as well as provide day to day operational support and complete reporting requirements.

The ICT Systems Administrator is responsible for the implementation, administration, and day-to-day maintenance of Hanwha Defence Australia (HDA) ICT systems.  Responsibilities include performing the day-to-day maintenance of on-premise or cloud systems (SaaS & IaaS), developing and maintaining SOEs for HDA staff and evaluating and implementing new technologies for use in the business, whilst also supporting end users as required.

This position will be lead the Manufacturing Readiness for our Vehicle programs in the World Class H-ACE (Hanwha Armoured Centre of Excellence) facility based at Avalon, Victoria.   

The successful candidate will be based within the HDA Manufacturing Engineering Department and interface across multiple internal/external stakeholders, within Australia, Korea and other countries, to deliver the optimum manufacturing footprint, plant layout, processes and equipment / tooling for our applications

The position will track Manufacturing Readiness Status to relevant Program Milestones, establishing their own sub-division of key tasks and communicating status throughout the HDA organisation.

The Production Group Leader will be responsible for the day to day running of their area of production within the Hanwha-Armoured Vehicle Centre of Excellence (H-ACE). 

The role will be responsible for implementing the relevant quality and schedule, leading their team to achieve associated build hours in accordance with the project requirements. 

This role will also implement production processes and practices that place a critical emphasis on safety and must demonstrate the required safety leadership capabilities to succeed in this role. It is expected that the role will work collaboratively with other functions within HDA and every consideration is given to identification and management of risk in accordance with Australian workplace laws.

This role will commence in March and be required to travel to South Korea for a period of up to 6 weeks for training where you will travel to our Hanwha Korean production facilities to shadow Korean Production staff.

The Production Quality Engineer role is a new role within our team that will be based at our newly built facility in Avalon - H-ACE . The role will be responsible for Product/Process Quality assurance activities. The Production Quality Engineer role will include a range of responsibilities including but not limited to:

We are seeking a Production Quality Inspector to join our team and will be responsible for ensuring quality and inspection checks to ensure works carried out are verified and reflected in work instruction sheets. The role is responsible for conducting inspections at various stages of fabrication, assembly and finishing processes to identify defects, deviations and/or non-conformances. The role also includes aspects of QMS development and root cause analysis with ensuring corrective actions are taken and escalating of any issues within the production area to relevant management personnel.

The role will also be required to travel to our Hanwha Korean production facilities to shadow Korean production staff to learn how to perform quality audits on vehicle.  

We are seeking Production Team Leaders who will be responsible for leading a team and managing the daily activities of a production area. The role is responsible for ensuring that volume, cost, waste and quality standards are achieved whilst also assisting in the identification of process problems, troubleshooting causes whilst developing solutions. 

The role will commence in April and will be required to travel to South Korea for a period of up to 6 weeks for training where you will travel to our Hanwha Korean production facilities to shadow Korean production staff. 

The Senior Contracts Manager role works to proactively assist with the oversight and effective management leadership of all issues arising related to significant Defence matters and works predominantly at the prime contractor level alongside other program functional and workstream leads.

The role includes assisting with leadership and management of contracting at prime contractor/prime systems integrator level and is also focused on associated key subcontractors and supplier levels.  This role works very closely with the Deputy Director & Company Secretary and Contracts Managers to ensure close alignments and understanding of inter-related issues between prime contractor and key subcontractors.

The FTR-I is customer facing and central to the development of all training products through the SADL process and delivering effective instructional training on HDA Platforms incorporating a blended solution.

The FTR-M is central to supporting the SID(M) with the development of all training products through the SADL process and working with Field Service Representatives (FSRs) in delivering effective instructional training on HDA Platforms incorporating a blended solution.

The IPS Specialist Technical Lead, acting as a field service representative, provides repair and maintenance expertise to ensure that Hanwha or Commonwealth-owned Mission Systems are maintained at a high level of vehicle availability for daily tasking by Hanwha or Army units. Reporting to the Maintenance Services Lead (IPS Specialist Supervisor), the role of the IPS Specialist Technical Lead will primarily involve repairing and maintaining Mission System equipment and serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Hanwha Defence designed equipment and systems. The IPS Specialist Technical Lead will also be required to provide on-the-job experience to Army and/or Contracted maintainers and operators of the Mission System. The IPS Specialist Technical Lead will be required to travel locally, interstate, and overseas for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) maintainer training. Duties will also involve practical fieldwork conducting and/or supporting maintenance activities for complex Land vehicle capabilities and periods of absence from the home environment in all seasons during the conduct and delivery of training to the client.

IPS Specialist Technical Lead positions will be positioned at the following locations:

The Senior IPS Analyst – Logistic Support Analyst will develop and maintain Integrated Product Support (IPS), also referred to as Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) analyses, for complete capabilities and manage the development and maintenance of the typical IPS Program artefacts.

The Project Cost Analyst will assist the Program Finance Manager and contribute to the Cost Management function. This role will also support the development of bid pricing models in support of business development activities

The purpose of this role is to work on mechanical design and engineering functions for specified project phases. The Mechanical Engineer will engineer and manage assigned work packages to meet client expectations regarding design, budget and within schedule.

The Senior Engineer - Software is responsible for the independent management and execution of Software activities across HDA’s business units. The Senior Engineer - Software ensures that Software activities are planned, resourced and executed to meet the objectives of HDA’s business units.

The Senior Software Engineer will work with other Engineering and Technical teams as well as other HDA functions to ensure that HDA’s Software activities are successful.

The Senior Engineer - C4i is responsible providing specialist command, control, communications, combat and intelligence (C4I) engineering expertise across HDA’s business units. The Senior Engineer - C4i ensures that C4i activities are planned, resourced and executed to meet the objectives of HDA’s business units. This role may also support systems-security engineering.

The Senior Instructional Designer - Operator will be responsible for the development, integration, and delivery of Project Operator training courses for Hanwha Defence Australia (HDA). The position will drive applicable phases of the Systems Approach to Defence Learning (SADL) as part of the Training System/ Solution.

The SIL Technician will conduct and assist with Electronic Architecture (EA) System Development, Integration, Verification, and Validation in the Hanwha Defence Australia (HDA) SIL and within prototype vehicles for specified project phases.

The SIL Technician conducts practical integration in the Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL) and onto prototype vehicles, conducts V&V activities supporting HDA engineering and V&V teams, and provides support to C4I, Electrical, Software, and E3 Systems Engineering teams ensuring the technical integrity of the system being delivered.

The Verification and Validation Engineer is responsible for the independent management and execution of V&V activities across HDAs business units. The V&V Engineer ensures that V&V activities are planned, resourced and executed to meet the objectives of the business units. The V&V Engineer will work with other Engineering and Technical teams as well as other HDA functions to ensure that V&V activities are successful.
